Ken Bradley
FOUNDER
This is a Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator (DHI)
In his over forty years of oil and gas experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, Ken Bradley has been associated with both private and public companies engaged in exploration and production in Western Canada. Early in his career, he worked in geological capacities with intermediate resource companies in Calgary. Later, he held senior executive positions with oil and gas companies such as Prism Petroleum, Colony Energy, and Trenton Energy. In 1999, Bradley co-founded Sky Hunter Technologies Inc., a private company that developed an innovative airborne hydrocarbon detection system to map occurrences of fully pressured oil and gas accumulations both onshore and offshore. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Geology.

Russ Duncan
FOUNDER
A Challenging Application of Airborne Science
Russ Duncan has over forty years of oil and gas experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, gained while working in a variety of engineering positions of increasing responsibility. Between 1971 and 1984, he worked in several engineering capacities with Alberta Eastern Gas and Ocelot Industries. In 1984, Duncan joined Paramount Resources Ltd., a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange; in 1986, he was appointed Vice President of operations and a director. At Paramount, he was involved in day-to-day drilling, facilities construction and production operations, gas marketing, and contract matters. He has also been a director of Newalta Corporation and Alberta Laterals Company.

About Sky Hunter
Sky Hunter Corporation is a Calgary-based company that provides a valuable exploration tool to oil and gas companies worldwide. Sky Hunter uses proprietary technology to conduct airborne surveys that map microseep data. In turn, this data predicts the presence of pressurized hydrocarbon reservoirs for further exploration, development, and production by traditional methods.
The original concept was developed by a mining Engineer in Australia after he measured hydrocarbons in a surgery or operating room. The Airborne system was developed and tested in Canada. Ken Bradley believed the system had merit and set up joint ventures to validate its effectiveness.
Sky Hunter Technologies purchased the system in the early 2000s. In order to further validate the technology, over 100,000 km of data was gathered in Canada, the USA, and Australia. Third-party evaluations of the predictability of the mapping indicated a two-out-of-three well predication rate.
A commercial system was then developed based on the original prototype and launched in the spring of 2013. This system is a collaboration of the onboard sensor system by MDA Systems of Richmond, BC, and aircraft modifications by Aries Aviation of Springbank, AB.
Additional surveys have been completed and over 100,000 line kilometers of data have been gathered. The prediction rate is at 80 % based on look-back information. In early 2023 a survey was completed in India.
Sky Hunter Corporation does not hold a Permit to Practice under The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
